The first thing you really need to do when you decide you would like a language job is to work out what your interests are. The second area you will need to look at is the type and level of qualifications that will be required to obtain the job you are most interested in. you may find that some do not require any formal qualifications but a large number will, such as to become a teacher. You may also need some experience in the area you wish to work in. if you do not have any then consider volunteering for a while or even doing some work experience to gain the knowledge required. It can also be a great advantage if you already specialise in a certain area such as having a science degree or have a good knowledge of medical terminology.
